Not to mention the bruises. Bachira mentions it casually when Isagi, concerned, points out the horrid black eye that marks the side of his face, that he attends a boxing class, but Isagi used to do karate as a kid, and he knows they never get that physical.
He doesn’t pry about it, though. He’s never really thought it his place, after all, Bachira is just a regular at his bakery, and Isagi is just the guy who sells him sweets.
