His answer was to take a single step forward, now right against the walker they had set up for him, and grabbed a fistful of her hair to tilt her head back and cover her mouth with his.

Derek smiled back at the Sheriff, self-assured and showing off just a few too many teeth to look strictly human.
“Alright. Let me see if I’ve got this straight,” Noah began, rubbing his forehead as he prayed for strength. “You want me to allow a teenaged boy to sleep directly across the hall from my teenaged daughter with zero parental supervision while I’m pulling overnight shifts?”
“Daaaad!” Stiles groaned. “It’s still Derek!”

The kid blinked at him, both hands still wrapped around the cup he’d almost sent flying. He turned to look around himself, as if trying to identify who Derek was speaking to, before realizing that he was, in fact, speaking to him.
“Are you talking to me?” he asked, as if needing it confirmed.
“I sure am.” Derek crossed his arms, going for disappointed as opposed to authoritative. Some of the little shits got all rebellious when he started acting authoritative and he didn’t want to have fists flying. It was always really awkward slapping handcuffs on minors for assault and calling their parents.
The kid gave him an unimpressed look, then rolled his eyes. “Haha, hilarious.”

Bucky (or so he hopes) runs his hand over long, unbound hair. “Yeah, uh, I’m Bucky.” He thrusts out a hand for Tony to shake. “It’s nice to meet you, Tony.”
“Yeah, you too.” Tony hesitates. “No offence, but you don’t seem like the type to use a dating app.”
“Oh?” Bucky says, almost shyly.
“Well, you’re hot,” Tony says, bluntly. “Hot people usually don’t need the aid of a dating app to get laid.”
Bucky stares at him for a moment. “You think I came to see you because I want to get laid?” he says, gaping at disbelief.

Tony was pretty sure there was a ghost living out its afterlife in his kitchen. He thought it must have moved in approximately two Thursdays ago, and it seemed to really enjoying cooking - especially Italian - and crappy Chinese takeout. It also seemed to be very friendly, as it always left a note that said something along the lines of ‘for my generous host’ or ‘leftovers are Tony’s, NO ONE EAT’ on top of the food.
