Summary
The Doctor, usually, does a fine job as passing for Human. They slip up, every once in a while. Of course they do. Spend enough time around humans and at least one of them is going to catch on.
These are the slip-ups.
An anthology series focused on the more unsettling implications of being friends with a centuries-old alien.

“Right.” Rory finally seemed to react, shaking his head a little as his hands flailed for effect, “right sorry. So I’ve gone to sleep, got woken up by the TARDIS going crazy and now we’re in a future TARDIS with a future Doctor who’s also a woman? I’m getting this right?”

Summary
"And I'm scared to ask, Doctor, I'm scared to know" - and the Doctor sees it, the terror and the rage in his eyes, in Roy's eyes, which it's the fundamental detail, which makes the situation so more hard and impossible and hurtful and right - "should it be between you and her, should it be a choice between your life and her life, would she hesitate at all before deciding you are more important and sacrifice herself for you? ".
The Doctor shakes under his gaze, under the eyes of a father came to ask justice and fairness for his daughter, for the baby ripped from his arms and never returned, the girl hurt times and times again, the woman with a broken heart and too many secrets.
The Doctor shakes because the Doctor knows, because for him it has already happened, because he has seen her die before seeing her live and so he knows - that she wouldn't (didn't ) hesitate at all.
.
Where the Ponds survive "The Angels Take Manhattan", but things are discussed and decisions are made and in the end everything ends well - because life is a story and this is a fairytale and a fairytale can't end without happily ever after
