Summary
Éowyn, an 18 year old, upper class Erudite-born woman navigates the challenges of being divergent and deciding which faction she belongs in.
After transferring to Dauntless, she begins training under the brutal leadership of Eric Coulter. Elizabeth's life in Dauntless is almost perfect.
She has an amazing job, two wonderful friends, and now her little brother has started his initiation. The ghost of her past still linger but all in all everything is the way it should be.
If only Eric Coulter didn't exist.
The two have an ongoing feud but Dauntless' leader Max is getting tired of their constant fighting and gives the two an old ultimatum. Either work it out or lose their jobs.
Elizabeth has to find a way to either beat Eric at his own game or even worse... actually try to get along with him.
