Summary
Trapped in a system where omegas are little more than trophies to be bought and sold, Will Graham has done the unthinkable by escaping a forced bonding. Already in high demand as a profiler, Will's determined to find freedom on his own terms.
For Hannibal Lecter the outlook is far more straightforward: a slow, systematic seduction of the most uniquely captivating omega he's ever encountered.
As the shadow of a new and terrifying serial killer falls over Baltimore, the stage is set to redefine all accepted meanings of passion, temptation, horror and beauty – and to discover the ecstasy of a genuine love crime.

Summary
Will hasn't gotten a present for Christmas in a long time. Forget believing in Santa; he hasn't gotten a gift from anyone at all since his mother died when he was very young, leaving his drunk father to raise him. They don't even bother with a Christmas tree. Christmas is nothing more to him than a chance to earn some extra cash selling trees at the lot in town.
So when one night he makes a wish for his father to die, he doesn't think anything of it. That is, until a terrifying monster clamors down the chimney, kills his father, and chases him out into a deadly blizzard, running for his life. Then he wakes up in a strange town, with strange people, who walk with bells on their shoes and have pointed ears...

Summary
“Do you think that maybe you have a preference for people with a certain criminal element?”
Will feels himself wilt internally. “I’m not sure how to feel about jumping to murder instead of the fact that the two of you could have been made through cellular mitosis.”
---
Hannibal has effectively replaced Will in every facet of his life by the time he is released from prison at the hands of the Chesapeake Ripper. The man takes his job, his friends, his one-time crush, and his pride.
In a spiteful random purchase made at a gas station, Will finds a way for two to play that game, and puts in motion a much wilder method of replacing Hannibal than he was really planning for.
