Summary
Lán Qǐrén is transformed into a rabbit the first day of the first Cultivation Conference after the events of canon. Once he gets over the indignity of it all, he must find a way to reverse the curse, and he is unhappy to admit that he needs Wèi Wúxiàn's help. He is not surprised when the boy mistakes him for a mundane rabbit. He is, however, surprised, as he comes to view his nephew's husband in a new light.

Summary
Lan Qiren thought the worst outcome of the Qinghe conference would be a diplomatic headache. He was wrong. The worst outcome was having his tea spiked and gaining temporary telepathy.
Now trapped in a classroom full of teenage students, Qiren is forced to listen to everyone's unfiltered inner monologues. He learns things he can never un-learn; most notably, about one he least expected it from -- his own golden nephew, Lan wangji.
(Alternatively, Lan qiren mind reading his way into the realisation that his innocent nappa cabbage was not so innocent after all.)

“Can I stay here with you guys while I check this, please?” Wei Ying asked in a small and shaky voice as he placed a pregnancy test face down on the coffee table. “Lan Zhan’s not home yet and I don’t want to look at it alone.”
For a brief moment, Lan Qiren somehow forgot that Wangji and his omega were married adults and in a perfectly reasonable stage of life to start trying for a family, and he worried that he and Xichen were going to have to console Wei Wuxian through the discovery of an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy.
“It’s just that I don’t think I can handle getting another negative result right now,” Wei Ying whispered glumly.
Oh.
