    Summary

The Advent had happened years ago, when regular people started developing abilities akin to those of fictional superheroes. It was fine at first, the odd person here and there being able to do something that a regular human shouldn’t probably be able to. Those people quickly rose to fame, the first few, the new breed of human or some shit.

    But then it kept spreading.

More and more people developed superpowers, and more and more people took advantage of that. No enforcement system was equipped to deal with criminals who could light an entire building aflame with the snap of a finger, no government knew how to deal with a group of wronguns who could change their forms whenever they pleased.

    Summary

“Your pursuit is futile, friend.” Technoblade sounded worn, a tiredness that spoke of eternities.

“I have no pursuit,” Phil lied. For finding what he wished for would only mean losing what he had. He did not want to hurt his friend.

“Mortality is not gained, only lost.”

Phil was silent, knowing the truth but never having accepted it, reaching for what he knew he could never have.

“Together we take the mortality of others in hope to find our own, but together we will remain. Eternally. Death is a privilege, and life a curse we must brave.”

    -- -- --

Phil has lived many centuries. These are only a few of them

    Summary

Contrary to the rambunctious baristas, Dormouse Cafe and Tearoom itself was far, far calmer. There were a handful of regulars—Kirishima and his boyfriend Bakugou (the couple were how Sero, Mina, and Kaminari realised they already sort of knew each other; Mina was childhood friends with Kirishima, who was also Sero’s friend, and Kaminari had apparently been bothering Bakugou since high school. Sero wondered how he was still alive at this point), Uraraka’s friend Midoriya who practically worked for free given how much he helped out (it wasn’t free, Yaomomo always gave him drinks for no charge), Intelli, a pretty purple haired girl who drank an inordinate amount of tea, and Todoroki.

No one seemed to know much about Todoroki—where he came from, what he did, who he was—but there was one thing they could all agree on. He was beautiful.

    -- -- --

Okay look. So Sero's crushing hard, what about it? At least he's not Kaminari, falling for multiple people at once.

    Wait.

    Fuck.

    Summary

“So do you still think you’re stronger than me?” Uraraka asked after a few minutes of silence.

    “No. I know I am.”

Uraraka laughed again, throwing her head back. “Well, what do you say we settle this?”

“What d’you mean, cheeks,” Bakugou grumbled, though he had a creeping suspicion of where this was headed already.

The number 15 hero’s grin was sly. “I mean, why don’t we have a fight. A rematch, if you will.”

    “A rematch of what?”

“Of our first fight, back at UA. The first–year sports festival. The one where I almost beat your ass.”

    Oh, it was on.

    -- -- --

The thing is, Bakugou has never been able to say no to a challenge.

    Summary

It wasn’t until Kaminari actually joined everyone else that they saw something was very, very wrong. Wrong enough to take their mind off the Bakugou situation.

    “Kami! Dude, how’d you escape?”

Who they’d assumed was Yaomomo— given the messy half-bun of long black hair— turned to them, and they almost dropped their cereal.

“Sero? Bro, what happened?” Because that was Sero’s grin, his lanky limbs, and rounded elbows, just… with long hair and boobs.

Class 1-A encounters a rouge genderswap quirk, but Kaminari remains unaffected.

There are potential trigger warnings for talk of gender dysphoria, but nothing too bad I don't think!
