Anyway, it’s a tale as old as time: stupid idiot briefly dies in a war, stupid idiot becomes Master of Death and stops aging, stupid idiot ignores this and his friends’ (the non-idiots) concern until it can no longer be ignored or reliably hidden with aging potions, and then stupid idiot decides to move continents and go into hiding before anyone finds out about the Master of Death-business.
