Tony Stark's last memory is of the sceptre touching his chest, the alien metal clinking delicately against the glass surface of his arc reactor, and Loki's triumphant face.
His next memory is waking up in Siberia, bruised and confused, with FRIDAY apparently his AI and Rhodey - Rhodey! - in a wheelchair.
(The sceptre does nothing. Except it does everything. Tony Stark's eyes turn blue, but only until he flies a nuke through a portal. And then--)

Summary
In one world, Bucky Barnes is turned to dust in the aftermath of Thanos' snap. In this world, though, it is Steve Rogers who dies, and Bucky Barnes lives. In this world, Tony comes back from Titan to a country that has changed in wake of the Snap, a society that is dying, and the only way in the minds of those in power to save the future, and the future of mankind, is for everyone, especially the omegas, to embrace their biological destiny.
Calvary has decreed it: every unattached omega will immediately be bonded with an alpha and will be expected to give birth to a living child within two years. If the omega fails, and it is always the omega who fails, the bond will be severed, and the omega will be handed over to another alpha, again and again until they prove barren, and then, they are worked to death in the Wastes of what the Land of the Free used to be.
That is the life of an omega in Calvary, once known as the United States of America, after the Snap.
Naturally, Tony chafes, but blessed are the meek and blessed are those who suffer for the cause of righteousness.

Summary
[IMBB 2019] Tony Stark's last memory is of the tower during the Chitauri Invasion, of Loki, too pale and blue eyed, victorious in his victory as he brings the tip of the sceptre down against Tony's equally blue arc reactor. And then- Natasha. Siberia. Years drained down the sink and his memory a swiss cheese model of failure. And damning evidence to suggest worse.
Something is wrong. Something is horribly wrong.

Summary
Tony is at a carnival when he meets a psychic. She offers to tell him his future. Tony reluctantly allows it, but doesn't believe it. When her predictions start coming true, he is faced with the choice she had given him: Save Bucky and die or live and allow Bucky to die. Faced with the realization that he was running out of time, Tony sets out to do what he can to take care of those he loves before his time runs out.
