is that your flaming sword (or are you just pleased to see me) by Deputychairman

Summary
“No, it -just reminded me of your sword, that’s all. The flaming one. You know, you pinning me against the wall with it like that - ” he gestured airily to the shelf, “and, uh, I don’t know, smiting me with holy love or something.”
He directed an unmistakable onceover at Aziraphale’s physical form, perhaps justifiably doubtful that his message would get across without it.
But to their mutual surprise, Aziraphale had understood him perfectly.
“Oh I see,” he said.
Crowley opened his mouth, then closed it again. The unexpected success of communication had left them both at a bit of a loss for words.

Summary
Some bedroom banter about penances puts a not-quite-nice idea into Aziraphale’s head, but it turns into a sweet exploration of how liberating it is for Crowley to simply surrender to his angel, and Aziraphale feeling his way into the responsibility that comes with being even a soft Dom.
Or, a four part broadside of unapologetic filth, with a fluffy little cherry on top.
He sidles around the last stack of books and sets down the bottle, and is about to swivel onto the couch when Aziraphale’s knee comes up, catching him just hard enough on the leg to throw him off balance, and he stumbles sideways. A strong hand catches him before he can hurt himself, and another shifts to press him facedown over the angel’s knees. He’s a little gobsmacked by how fast it’s happened.
The hand is quite unyielding. Aziraphale’s sitting forward so that Crowley’s just off the edge of the couch, knees on the floor. He braces his forearms on a small pile of 1860’s travel journals and experimentally pushes upward. He’s not going anywhere.

Summary
“Why did you come here?” Aziraphale interrupts. “Why do you keep doing this?” All the saving, he means, all the chasing after Aziraphale he does. It can’t only be that he’s not keen to endure a replacement. That can’t be it, not anymore. He’s going to get himself in trouble, and then it’ll be Aziraphale’s fault.
Crowley’s mouth shuts with a click. He shifts uncomfortably in his seat, reaches for the handle of the fork and taps his fingertips against it before setting his hands in his lap.
When he speaks, it’s very soft. “Don’t you know?” he asks.
Aziraphale, unnaccustomed to his heart refusing to translate why it throbs with such haste, shakes his head.

Summary
Aziraphale is terrified of Heaven looking over his shoulder. He is terrified of burning Crowley with his holy-water-touch. So he doesn't reach out. He never says a word. Aziraphale loves Crowley in the wordless and touchless way of a ghost.
But there have always been languages for ghosts to speak.

Summary
“Let’s talk about things that can cause symptoms like yours. Have you stopped or started any medications?”
Fell looked at the other man in the room. “Medications…?”
“You remember when Mrs. Dowling would have one of her ‘episodes’ and need to have a lie down? I used to bring her paracetamol.”
“Did you turn it on in some way? Or did she, before she swallowed it?”
“Just a glass of water for afters, usually.” The man in black spread his hands, palms up. “Does that count?”
“I imagine it would ‘stop’ once it’s in the gastric cavity- or is that when it ‘starts’?”
Both men looked at Amber, eyebrows raised. She was almost sure they were taking the piss. Nearly, completely sure about that. 75% sure, at least.

Aziraphale is having some trouble with his human corporation. He and Crowley decide to let the humans have a go at fixing it. A psychiatric trainee working the emergency room has an unusual night.
