Sometimes Clark thinks back to what Syd had told him when he had led the attack on Summerland on that one fateful day. What she had said when she had tried to convince him to switch sides right off the bat -
"Maybe i'm wrong, but I think you like David. I think you feel something for him."
If only she had known how deep that particular 'something' ran.
