There are some angsty moments as the two adults who are now children try to navigate being smaller, more tired, overly emotional and the return of childhood nightmares. He was too light. Dick would have thought he were closer to six if he didn't know better. But he'd seen those eyes before. They were the same eyes that used to stare back at him in the mirror.
Behind all the fear and confusion, was pure unimaginable grief. A stray tear fell down the boy's cheek, and Dick felt a sudden wave of protectiveness hit him. Bruce had saved him, but even now he was still so full of grief and pain. The situation was terrible, but maybe, he could save Bruce too.

Summary
A mission ends with Batman being de-aged into his teenage self. The systems around him move, finding a balance to take care of him and restore Bruce to normal. The system within him struggles to adapt to this current reality, unsure of what is going on. One thing his family settles on: if the Bat System didn’t know they were multiple at this age, it’s probably not their place to them, right? They’ll just have to deal with an undiagnosed, pre-Batman ‘Bruce’ until they can figure out how to undo this whole de-aging thing.
