"I'm going back," Rory was standing In Lucifer's apartment opposite her mother and father when a cloud of gold mist began to swirl around her, engulfing her in glowing smoke. The dazzling light glowed throughout the entire apartment.
"No!" Lucifer exclaimed. His voice was hoarse, he shouted but he was not angry. He was desperate.
"Give me your word that you won't change anything," Rory said, desperation filling her eyes. She needed him to promise he wouldn't change the future, she needed it to stay the same.
"Rory, I'll miss your childhood, I'll miss your life. I don't want to leave."
"That's just a blip in our eternal existence," Rory explains. "I was so angry before but I'm not angry anymore I understand now. You have to promise me you won't change anything!" Lucifer wasn't in the mood for reasoning, his mind was set. He wouldn't break apart his family.
