His fists clenched as people ran behind him, screaming and crying out at the steady smoke that arose from the rubble - some of those cries belonging to several of his students, who had met up with him after going off on their own. The one's who hadn't wondered into the building. The building that now resembled not a building, but a pile of crushing weight, set to kill anyone still trapped within it's deadly walls.
Uraraka in particular gave a loud sob, grabbing at her sensei's shirt with both hands as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Mr. Aizawa, they're in there!" the brunette cries, eyes clenching shut, and Shouta knew. He knew before she spoke those next words, having seen those particular students walk into that store not even just ten minutes ago. The disappointment, anger, the rage at himself coiled beneath his skin, threatening to break out at any moment for his mistake, such a rookie mistake.
"Ashido...Hagakure...Deku...sir, they're all in there!"

Real name Bakugou Katsuki, Izuku’s beloved ‘Kacchan’ was also more known as Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, currently number four in the Pro Hero Rankings, childhood friend, occasional model, universally acknowledged as the ‘explosive, bad boy’ hero, and second-most handsome celebrity bachelor in online polls (just after Pro Hero Shouto, a dear friend of Izuku’s, and Kacchan’s bitter rival-frenemy in all aspects of life).
Too bad his friends didn’t believe him.

He hadn't realized that though. Not until after a particularly bad villain attack during, his mom having rushed to UA the moment she heard about it and wrapped Izuku up in a tight hug.
He had forgotten how nice it was to be held like this. He hadn't realized the tears that had begun to prick up in the corner of his eyes.
He buried his face in his mom's shoulder, letting them fall silently and soak her shirt. She didn't say anything, probably just assuming it was Izuku coping with the villain attack he had just been subjected to.
