UPDATED CHAPTER ONE BECAUSE IT WAS BUNS. also different plot change soooo (aligns more with chapter two and my vision)
(Mobile formatting! So if paragraphs are too short on PC or laptop it's because.. well I'm writing this on a phone)The reason each chapter isn't over 3000 (my normal ff length) is because I want to space it out and make sure I'm not stressed. I get burnt out easily and that way I'm in pace with my schedule. Especially battling a baby, school, and work.
By chapter 3 each chapter will now be over 3000 words. I just wanted to make sure I keep readers engaged first before I start making them too long

First, it seemed to happen slowly. Then, things happen all at once.
The mod itself is having issues, he thinks.
It reacts incorrectly. Verity acts oddly. More strangely than usual, more neurotic than recognizable.
He indulges it.
He has practice.
He has nothing better to do.
