Peter Parker ended up in the care of one Skip Westcott after his aunt died 8 months ago. Skip abuses him and after 7 months of abuse at the hands of who is supposed to be his caretaker, he's ready to end his life. Now, Tony Stark is known for being fashionably late, but in this case, however, he's got perfect timing.

“It wasn’t my fault,” Tony defends. “That Spider-Guy never knows when to shut up. He distracted me.”
“Your reputation took a blow,” Pepper tells him. “Which will be fixed, of course. I’ve already set it up.”
“Set what up? What, am I going to make flower arrangements with the elderly?”
Pepper slides a piece of paper towards him. “Try an orphan. His name is Peter Parker. His biggest dream is to meet you. But…” She hesitates.
“But?”

Summary
Ever since a civil war tore the Avengers apart, tensions have been brewing. Everyone has their own way of coping. Tony seems to take pleasure in stressing Rhodey out, Natasha avoids talking about anything real, Clint ignores all of Neil the Therapist's advice, and Steve continues to choose his unstable friend over his other, equally unstable friend.
Enter, Peter Parker.

Great series in which the avengers slowly learn about peter , having funny miscommunications and then some funny drunk peter, over protective iron dad and then Peter stops a school shooting and gets shot , revealing his identity to the world by accident. He then has to battle the bad press, doing so by being a cutie little passive aggressive boi and posting a vid on the internet in which he cooks cookies with a makeshift flame thrower and talks about his feelings.
