Summary
Harua is what the wild wolf packs call gifted. Wider society might call him a clairvoyant. To Maki, he is magic itself.
As much as Maki has learned from his pack the past two years, he still feels like an outsider sometimes. There’s still a lot for him to learn, especially when it comes to the magic stuff. Harua’s visions have been known to paralyse him, or he can randomly begin speaking to no one. Sometimes he passes out.
This is new, though. He’s never had such a peculiar, dangerous episode like this one before.
or,
Something is wrong with Harua.

Summary
Maki is afraid his first ever shift as a Werewolf will make him a monster. He’s only half-Were, after all.
Harua gets Maki through it, hand in gentle hand. Even if Harua is bitter he can’t shift yet himself, unable to join Maki and the rest of the pack on their hunt.
(Sometimes growing up isn’t so bad, if the boy you love believes in you.)

Summary
As he entered the library he was hit by a new scent that made him stumble, almost losing his balance. The unknown scent was sweet but not smothering his senses. With each breath Kei took, the smell was draping over him like a warm blanket. He could feel his wolf calming down just by being near the other wolf. The constant itch under his skin subdued to a muted humming.
Looking around frantically, Kei tried to find the source of the scent. Turning around the corner to one of the more deserted areas, he was met with a boy standing in front of a high bookshelf. The moment Kei appeared, almost falling over his own feet, the other boy spun around, staring at him with wide eyes. Before Kei had time to react, the boy turned around and disappeared into the endless maze of bookshelves, leaving only his sweet scent behind.

Summary
The year was somewhere around 1750, and Yudai had been pretending, poorly, to be aimless.
He was strolling through a human town, hands clasped behind his back, whistling as if he hadn’t deliberately chosen this trade route because it cut through a shopping district Fuma frequented. Completely coincidental.
After a nightmare of who he used to be, Yudai thinks back to the day he first met Fuma, and the moment he realized the phoenix had already claimed his life.
