How to set up a bookmarklet that applies a saved set of filters to any works or bookmarks listing page on AO3
(Bookmarklets are a bit fiddly on mobile, but very much doable—and functional. Since I've done all the coding already, you can just follow the instructions without worrying about that. ;D)

Saved Filters on AO3 by reisling
-----------------very useful and well explained. 😊
It's quite simple and easy to implement.
I tried it out with just a few filters (English, no Crossovers and no WIPs) and it works like a charm! 😀

GRYFFINDORS. Go up the marble staircase and left, and keep travelling in that general direction; you’ll want to be going towards your left, because Gryffindor Tower is on the easternmost side of the castle, and you’re coming from the north/north-west. Once you reach the second floor, you can take a short-cut! Concealed behind a tapestry is a narrow staircase to the upper floors...
A guide for people writing fic set in Hoggy Warty Hogwarts, who want to know where everything is, a first-person walk-through, written as if a Prefect is handing out pamphlets to all the poor ickle firsties. ^_^’
( Includes a map I made, back before the new illustrated editions came out when we still had no official guide, based on JKR's. )( UPDATE: now includes a rough map of Hogsmeade! )

------------------Written like a leaflet for new students it also includes two maps and several charts; with very useful information about the locations of many things on Hogwarts' grounds and in Hogsmeade and additional 'good to know about' info about them.
Great writing reference, but also helpful for readers who like to visualise the layout while reading.

Summary
She almost, almost catches the glass in time.
She should be able to catch it in time. If she can parry a sword in the same amount of time, she should surely be able to catch a falling glass, no matter if she’d been lax enough to let it slip in the first place.
She doesn’t catch it, and it hits the floor and shatters, shards scattering everywhere and the little water still in it splashing across the floor of Marinette’s room, and Kagami- freezes.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Summary
The Archive of Our Own has an option to name a Fannish Next of Kin--someone who would gain access to your account in case of death or incapacitation. By naming another individual who can act on your behalf, you can decide ahead of time how you want your AO3 accounts handled going into the future.
Maybe you want your works preserved; maybe you want them orphaned or deleted; maybe you want to have them open to remixes and related works. Whether your fannish identity departs with you or keeps on keeping on--that's a choice you can make. Learn more about how the Fannish Next of Kin works.
A Fannish Next of Kin can be part of your bigger plan for your social media will, and can ensure that your readers have someone to contact in case of questions about that unfinished WIP or whether or not their favorite work will get a sequel. However you want your works handled, this option will allow you to have a plan in place.

Summary
So, a while ago, some of my friends and fellow cast members of the @sansukhpodfic asked about how to make and edit podfic on their own. I created this tutorial for them, as a supplement to the resources already posted by the Sansukh mods. In the wake of the most recent @auralphonic episode asking for technical advice on podficcing in Audacity, I thought I would polish this up and post it.
This tutorial explains how, once you have permission to record a story, you go about turning it into a podfic using Audacity. It focuses on technical and logistical details, rather than artistic advice, and is cobbled together from my own experience, my knowledge of the mathematics behind signal analysis, and other people’s tutorials. There’s lots of communities and resources out there that give advice on the artistic side (Auralphonic, for example, has an episode for newbies), which I recommend checking out.
Disclaimer: There is no one standard method of doing this! This is the method I have found gives me the best results, personally, but there may be better ways to do this. I strongly recommend checking out other resources for comparison.
