Day 4: Idols/Models//Thirst Trap//Pocky GamesReki and Langa but they're the skater and model in that video when a model in Hanfu saves the skater from falling and also Reki is an Idol. The internet ships them hard and they end up filming a commercial together.
Reki clicks on the video again, watching in slow motion as the beautiful man in elaborate traditional dress wraps his arms around the skater, spinning their momentum to a safe stop in his embrace.
He can’t help but blush fiercely, remember how it felt to go from the shock of staggering off his board one moment to the the sudden closeness with a smooth pale face with long icy blue hair swaying around him.
He apologized as quickly as his voice came back to him, the man calmly letting him go when his feet were firmly on the ground again. That’s where the video cuts off, but Reki remembers standing still as the other man bows and returns to his business. A model, apparently, gliding away to pose for another photo in the crowded plaza.

Written for Day 7 of Reki Appreciation Week:
Yakuza/Surprise Party/SextingLanga moves to Okinawa after his dad dies, reconnects with his mom, and meets a cheerful redheaded skater who turns his life around.
Langa is nineteen when his father dies and Canada doesn’t feel like home anymore. He dropped out of school as soon as his dad got sick and can’t bring himself to consider starting again anytime soon. So he gets his father’s estate in order as much as he can and leaves the rest for his grandparents to handle. He applies for a passport, looking even more pasty and dead eyed in the photo than in his drivers license and applies for a visa.
Maybe it’s stupid to try to reconnect with his mom, but Langa doesn’t really have a better plan for his life right now. So he flies back to Okinawa, ten years after he and his dad left Nanako behind.
See, his parents split when Nanako decided to take up the Hasegawa family business, and she didn’t want a husband or son weighing her down as the young female leader of an Okinawan crime syndicate.

Dreams/Double dates/ExhibitionismReki and Langa still make it back to Crazy Rock sometimes, even though they're in college now. When a girl asks Reki out, Langa ends up coming along with another guy for a double date. Cue jealousy, messy feelings realization, and sloppy making out/making it up to each other.
What if the hands in his hair were smaller, rough calluses catching at fine hairs. What if the waist fit between his palms were more slender, still firmly muscled but narrow and flexible. What if his partner were a bit shorter? The distance between them since Langa’s last growth spurt made Reki the perfect size to tuck his head into Langa’s neck.
Langa feels the broad back as he slides his hands up under Yoshi’s sweatshirt and wonders what it would feel like to trail his fingertips over the scars from Reki’s brutal race with Adam years ago.

He still wears his yukata, though wearing might not be the best word to describe it. More like he's vacuum sealed inside. More like the thin fabric, half transparent with moisture is glued to every curve and cleft of his body.
