Summary
A Cyberpunk noir, focusing on Night City's favorite detective -- River Ward -- and how he finds his place in it, and with V. There's more than V's Johnny trouble happening in the city, after all. River becomes a pawn in his own corpo gig-gone-wrong as he explores life on the outside of NCPD. It's a race against time as V's condition worsens and River finds himself making impossible choices.
Canon content mixed with original. Picks up at "I Fought The Law".
Content warnings: Canon/genre-typical darkness, violence, and language. Grief. Family. Smut.

For a woman with so little time left, you’re definitely takin’ your sweet ass time. And trying to find love in this shit of a city? With a fuckin’ badge no less?
Fine, do what you want. At least I’ll get the best seat in the house if this goes to shit. After a first meeting like this I can’t see how this gets any better.

- Part 1 of The ex-corpo and the former badge

Hiii this is my first series so thank you so much for stopping by~
We start off towards the end of the game and go into some struggles V has after a Don't Fear the Reaper type of ending. I haven't played through that ending yet (because I keep dying) so please excuse some creative liberties I had to take.

Summary
A Pitch Black/Cyberpunk 2077 crossover (for you little shits, you know who you are) with very loose attention to space travel rules, actual science or anything resembling sense.
I’m taking some real liberties and laying down some wild bullshittery to cross these two fandoms. Lizzie crew in #river, this hot mess is for you. You guys are gonna kill me and I love you for it. Enjoy the ride!
This crossover is based on my two existing fanfics for Female V/River and Jack/Riddick. For Female V/River, this story takes place after 5. Anathema, but before 6. Vendetta. For Jack/Riddick, this would take place a few weeks after Hide & Seek.
See the first chapter note for more details.
Let this shenanigan commence!
Series
- Part 4 of Jack & Riddick
- Part 7 of River Ward made me write fanfic
