Summary
It occurs a few times per day all over the world, at least per the official records. Two people meet, and their palms begin to glow with an eerie white-gold light. They are each others’ Anathema, and if they touch, the world will immediately and irrevocably end.
Yuuri has dreamed about and dreaded meeting his Anathema in equal measure his whole life. He never imagined he’d fall in love with him.

Summary
Something is missing.
At first, Victor thought it was just an odd sense of melancholy. An annoying thorn of doubt lodged into the tip of his tongue. It refuses to leave, no matter how much he bites at it until iron dances across his taste buds.
But there’s also evidence left around his apartment everywhere he turns. There’s a row of empty hangers, bare and white as bleached bones, occupying the right half of the closet. There’s an indent in the bottom shelf of the kitchen cupboard, barely noticeable against the walnut grain, suggesting another mug used to reside by his own. There are dusty shadows where picture frames, now absent, must’ve been hanging on the walls at one time. He runs a hand across the hastily spackled holes, the chalky dust crumbling off onto his probing fingers.
Most telling is Makkachin moping in her dog bed. Every now and then she’ll raise her head towards the front door and whine. As if she’s waiting for something—or someone—to come through at any second.
Something is missing.
Victor forgets.
Until he doesn’t.

Summary
Victor tipped his face down infinitesimally, and their lips connected.
That was it. A few millimeters of movement, and Victor’s entire body lit up from that single point of contact.
Their first kiss had been ephemeral as a single heartbeat of a hummingbird—their lips had sealed together for a split second before they hit the ice, jolting them apart, Yuuri’s eyes still wide with surprise.
But this time...this time, when their lips touched, every millisecond stretched out. Neither of them moved, the silence of the room falling around them like a heavy curtain.
Yuuri’s lips were sweet, like the lip balm that he had put on only hours earlier, and they were soft, softer than Victor had even imagined. And then Yuuri slid a trembling hand into Victor’s hair, tilting his head to the side as his lips parted, deepening the kiss.
Victor ached, trying to remember to inhale and exhale, but how was he supposed to remember how to breathe at all when Yuuri was standing there kissing him?

Summary
Upon arriving in Japan, Victor learns two things within a very short amount of time:
1. The people of Hasetsu are completely convinced he is Yuuri’s boyfriend.
2. The people of Hasetsu seem to be under the impression that he does not, in fact, understand a word of Japanese.
Victor does not correct them on either of these fronts. It’s far too entertaining to even consider doing such a thing.
And sometimes these two factors converge in extremely intriguing ways.
(Or: In which Victor gets a little too good at playing the part of Yuuri’s foreigner boyfriend.)

Summary
The last thing Yuuri expects to hear during Victor’s short program press conference at Skate America is his own name.
“Victor, can you tell us what inspired your program?”
Victor grins, Cheshire cat feasting on the coal mine canary before it ever had a chance to sing. “Not a what. A who.” Victor turns away from the reporter to stare directly into the camera. “I haven’t forgotten our dance, Yuuri Katsuki." And then he winks, “I’ll see you soon.”
What?
Phichit turns to him and says, “I think this might be Victor Nikiforov’s version of asking you out on a date.”
Victor skates the saltiest Eros routine of all time and issues a call out on international television.
