Summary
It was just to fill a hole; feed a need for them both. A pretend (and secret) engagement to cauterize the loneliness in them both.
No feelings involved.
Yeah, right.
Meanwhile, Spike is intent on tracking down the soldiers that put a chip in his head and enacting some very much needed comeuppance, and as luck would have it he's not alone in that goal.

Summary
It all started with Spike having nightmares about the woman he loves prompting him to go to her; before a demon got there first. Now where will it lead them? What new challenges will they face in a world with multiple Slayers? Nearly all major characters will eventually make an appearance. Essentially this is a very Spuffy centered continuation of the series.

Summary
“Buffy?” he mumbled as something soft brushed delicately across his eyelid.
“Don’t open your eyes,” she said quietly, her voice flat with concentration, “or you’ll get poked with the eyeshadow brush.”
He paused, motionless beneath her. “I’ll what now?”
“Just hold still.”

Summary
“Angelus.”
His grandsire grinned at him from the doorway. “Spike.” He said, sounding for all the world like he was pleasantly surprised.
He was hauling around a sweet-smelling bundle of youth– a fresh-faced little girl whose thundering blood reeked of the unripened energy Angelus had always been fondest of before he’d been saddled with a soul. She was shivering with fear, fumigating the room with it. Her big blue eyes darted between her captor and the beast before her.Laughter burbled up out of Spike’s throat. Disbelief. After a century of being a great, big, useless sod… “I'll be damned.”
OR:
The Monks caught wind of the fact that Glory had gotten strong enough to start physically manifesting in Ben's body, so they performed the ritual a few years early.
Having Dawn around as flesh and blood instead of smoke and mirrors changes things.

Summary
We pick up after Buffy's first encounter with Glory, when she's just learned about the truth about her sister Dawn. This is a slow, slow burn Spuffy fic with scenes centered around those two. The first canon divergence is simple -- Spike encounters Buffy on her way home after getting pummeled by Glory and having a bomb dropped on her by the dying monk. He is struggling with accepting his feelings for her, but ends up trying a slightly less unhinged approach to building trust and winning her affections. The road is long and winding, and honestly this started as a single scene where Spike cheers Joyce and Dawn up by dancing with them and then it just... got away from me.

Summary
Originally a standalone fic, the first installment has now spawned a trilogy because I've lost control of my life! Part 1 is a season 4 era slow burn; parts 2 and 3 explore AU versions of s5 and s6, respectively, where spuffy are in an established relationship throughout.
Parts 2 and 3 are planned/mostly written! Other fics in this universe, including missing scenes, bonus content, and possibly an AU s7 (but don't hold me to it) may be to come.

Summary
“So, you’re not in love with him?”
“No, Dawn,” Buffy snapped, trying to find something to dry her pruned hands on and settling for the shirt she was wearing. It was dirty anyway.
“Prove it then.”
Buffy looked up at that, her brows furrowed.
“Huh?”
Dawn slid a piece of paper across the island, the edges slightly curled where it had been held in her hand. Written in Xander’s wide loopy capitals was RICHARD 555-6716.
“Prove it,” Dawn repeated.
Dawn has had enough of her sister slinking around behind everyone’s backs with Spike. No more hiding, it’s time to bring it all out into the… well, not quite “light”, but you get the idea.
What better way to do that, than by setting Buffy up on some truly disastrous dates until she cracks?
