Lan Qiren didn’t really entertain the idea of adopting Cangse Sanren’s child, but the Lan elders see this as the chance to groom her into the next Madam Lan, the one that they won’t have to lock up and won’t cause their next sect leader’s downfall.

The demons, clan traitors and hunters were already at close doors, his uncle and granduncle had been fighting for a while but he knows that no matter how strong they are, they are outnumbered. He knows that his younger brother wanted to fight, he is proud of how strong his brother, already almost passing him in terms of strength (brutality) but he doesn't want to risk it. Even if it hurts him, seeing his betrayed face, he used his spiritual energy, activating the array to send his younger siblings, forward in the future. He just hopes that it will be so far in the future where they can live in peace.

Summary
Wen Ruohan, who always thought of himself as the strongest, was stabbed in the back by one that he trusted. Now, as a ghost, he was perfectly content to just watch his killers struggle under all of the post war pressures. That was until they started killing innocent people just because they were wens. And he got the shock of his lifetime when Wei Wuxian, the powerful demonic cultivator who was the biggest reason behind his downfall, stepped up and saved the dafan wens. He continues watching over their lives in the burial mound, their fun and playful times and the moment everything went downhill. Wen Qing and Wen Ning took up the Jin's offer and sacrificed themselves. Little did they know that their sacrifice was for nothing. When Ruohan watches as the broken demonic cultivator scrambles up an unknown array, hearing Wei Ying muttering to himself about a time traveling array he pours all of his energy into it. And the entire world becomes black. What felt like hours later Wen Ruohan wakes up, alive and in the scorching sun palace. There he makes one quick decision, to adopt wei wuxian and make sure that his genius and cultivation have all the place it needs to grow to its full potential.

This is a story of where Wei Changze and Cangse Sanren avoided dying, which is good. But they caused a lot of chaos in the pugilistic world, which is bad. However, they did adopt a lot of children along the way, which is good. But most of them already had families they belonged to and were kind of picked up without their parents’ permission… On the bright side, at least their beloved son Wei Ying will grow up happy. So, it’s all good.
Or… that story about a notorious couple of rouge cultivators on the run for 'kidnapping’ the heirs of prominent sect leaders. Cuteness and crack ensues.
