Zhongli stands rigid on the other side, his eyes never leaving the weapon.
“You really had me fooled, you know?” Childe continues, his voice airy, ut his expression hidden behind the mask. “Six months of almost daily meetings and there was never a drop of blood on you. You ate whatever I ate, drank whatever I did. I’ve never met any vamp apart from Her Majesty who hides it so well – but it all makes sense now.”
