Summary
Katsuki tucked his nose into Izuku's soft green curls, breathing in the scent of his shampoo. The light filtering through the window cast warm sunbeams across Izuku's freckled skin. He looked beautiful. Katsuki wanted to capture this moment in his memory for eternity. He squeezed Izuku a little tighter. For a few minutes neither of them spoke, just soaking up the tender moment between them.
Izuku shifted beneath him, turning to meet Katsuki's gaze. He pursed his lips, a thoughtful expression on his face. “Do you think Recovery Girl can kiss people without using her quirk?"

Summary
Katsuki loved his babysitter. He was a nice boy with brown hair and he loved hugs. He called Katsuki his baby brother, despite not being related and Katsuki no longer being a baby. Katsuki was eight, practically all grown. He was no baby.
Katsuki loved his babysitter. They laughed at the same jokes on t.v. He never went easy on Katsuki when they wrestled, and never took pity on him. He treated him like the hero he was going to be. He always said I love you back.
Katsuki’s babysitter was in his room.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya's expectations of visiting the UA Development lab did not include meeting Katsuki Bakugo: support-course prodigy, general menace, and the only person who looks at his hero work like it’s something both logical and sacred.
He doesn’t expect to start staying late, or the quiet lamplight, or the way Katsuki leans in close when he’s explaining something complicated, voice low, precise, almost impatient.
Over time, it stops being academic collaboration. It’s the slow, dangerous realization that they’ve begun orbiting each other—drawn in by brilliance, staying for something neither of them is naming yet.

“Kacchan. I’m coming in,” Deku warned.
“Please be dressed,” he added under his breath as he turned the key and pushed the door open. Bakugou was on his bed, but he was lying on it sideways, and he almost looked like he would slip off onto the floor.
“Kacchan?”
Bakugou’s eyes were closed, and his jaw was slack. His skin was unnaturally pale, and his lips were blue. For a second, Deku thought the worst. He’d seen Bakugou like that before. Cold, pale, lifeless—
Oh, wait. He’s breathing.
Panic attack momentarily averted.
