Summary
Time travel should be, in all better words, not possible.
“Let’s welcome our new family member!”
What.
The colourful banner that emphasised ‘welcome’ looked too colourful, confusing, like the brightness is now serving as a warning that something has changed, wrong but it’s right. His hands shook and his breathing quickened slightly as he took a step back from the view before him. Was it the demon? What happened, he and Mika-
This could be just his desires again.
“Hello, my name’s Mikaela! But everyone around here just calls me Mika, welcome to the family!” Mika smiled and his blue eyes – blue, it’s blue again – was so happy – unlike the red, dull eyes he’s seen.
“Hi,” he croaked out, feeling the tears nearing as he grasped warm hands, and he shook as he let out a weak smile. “My name's Yuuichirou, call me Yuu.”

Summary
In a world where Mika left Sanguinem and the vampires behind before he had a chance to see Yuu again, Yuu and the Shinoa squad have gone on to be just like any other squad in the Moon Demon Company. When they are given a mission to hunt down a vampire who is apparently hoarding children, they're in for far more than they bargained for, and Yuu just might get the happy ending he thought he'd lost.

It hurt, to think about Mika. To remember his dying voice calling out to him, telling him to run. To remember Mika’s brilliance, his care and his eyes and his smile. To remember all of that and know that he would never see it again. To be reminded that Mika was dead, and that Mika would never have a chance to grow old alongside Yuu. That the only Mika that was left was that of Yuu’s memories, left forever static and unchanging.

Summary
In the underground vampire city of Sanguinem, a group of imprisoned human children try to make their escape to the world above, where a virus has ravaged the adult population and their chances of survival are uncertain. The children are caught by a vampire and cut down before they can turn this plan into reality—all save one. Mikaela Hyakuya runs free, and Yuuichirou Hyakuya bleeds out, glad that one member of his family was able to live.
But Yuuichirou’s life doesn’t end there.
Turned into a vampire in secret by Queen Krul Tepes, he remains an incomplete vampire at the cost of being bound to her blood. Without his freedom, Yuuichirou is forced to navigate politics as an outsider in a court obsessed with lineage and power. Caught between two worlds, Yuuichirou desperately tries to maintain his humanity even as he comes to learn more about the race he hates firsthand.
As the time of his reunion with Mikaela draws closer, the war between vampires and humans erupts. To save the one he loves, Yuuichirou will face any opponent—even God himself.
(In which the Hyakuya Sect make sure of Yuuichirou. Can be considered canon divergence, but eventually becomes straight-up AU.)

But the vampire has secrets, and his origins will only bring trouble to the small company. The military, under Kureto Hiiragi’s control, begins to quite ominously make their presence known.(Or: Mikaela goes through the blender and struggles to find the family his instincts crave, and a certain human starts looking like the unlikely answer.)
