Summary
Here's the thing about deep wounds: you can stitch them up, but they always leave a mark. And if you leave them to heal on their own, there's a chance that they will fester - that the rot spreads through your blood and into your heart faster than you can seek out help.
Wednesday can't save herself. She knows this. But maybe she can save them.
The candlelight snuffs out when she completes the ritual. Her vision dims, then fades to black.
She wakes up in a hearse.
(Time Travel fix-it.)

"I sure as hell am not letting you spend the end of the world alone."

"You got too close to this little investigation of yours, so it'd be a great idea to have someone trustworthy keep you close."
"L-Laurel…?" Wednesday chokes out.
The person doesn't respond for a long moment. If it weren't for the red boots sitting in Wednesday's blurry vision, she would've thought the woman was gone.
…Red boots?

Summary
But something was… off. Maybe it was how quiet Wednesday was. Maybe it was the dullness in her eyes. Xavier didn’t know what it was, but something was wrong. Very wrong.
Xavier says her name softly, calls it out to the darkness. There’s no response.
or
Wednesday is hurt a bit more in the season finale. Xavier notices.

Summary
"And Wednesday, despite her caustic exterior and even if her Addams genetics worked as they should, was still arguably more vulnerable; however much she might try to deny it. Having a crazy high pain tolerance didn’t affect her susceptibility to harm, just her experience of it. Ironically, Wednesday was the most human out of all the outcasts at this school."
***
All the times Wednesday loses consciousness in the series, which is really quite a lot.
What if there was more to Wednesday's visions than we thought?(Diverting quite a bit more from canon now as this story has (quite majorly) expanded, but still based on the main plot structure of the series. Everything is just horribly worse for Wednesday because, much like Wednesday, I like to torture those I love.
Inevitable Wenclair, but slooooow burn and realistic relationships with others. Warning throughout for lots of medical stuff, like, it's constant. Wednesday goes absolutely through it, but there's plenty of comfort as well, much to her dismay.)
