One of her braids has spilled out onto the floor next to him. Ekko pulls it into his lap, and idly begins toying with it.
“Do you believe me yet?” he asks. “About that other reality I saw. I can’t tell with you, sometimes.”
Jinx opens her eyes. It had been a crazy tale, that’s for sure. One so crazy that she’s not even sure she could have dreamed it up. But if it was true, then there was another Isha out there, probably happy and alive.
