“Sorry?” Namjoon furrows his eyebrows. “Thorns?”
“Thorns,” the doctor confirms. He looks at the x-ray, “Like ones on a rose. You have a rare kind of Hanahaki Disease, Kim Namjoon-ssi. You see, the thorns manifest pretty quickly; they wrap around the heart almost immediately after someone’s feelings for you become apparent and you fail to return them.”
It’s Yoongi who asks this time, “Not flowers? Isn’t that…isn’t that what Hanahaki is? Flowers growing in your lungs? And wouldn’t it have been growing in the person whose love isn't returned?”

Summary
Light bends around a strong force and a halo is formed just before it passes completely. Hoseok refuses to be dragged down by the weight of expectations but it's Jimin's arrival that shines the brightest of lights around him. Comfort, warmth, and encouragements, the halo of home that Jimin is, are exactly what Hoseok needs to shrug off the weight of the world from his shoulders.
After Lollapalooza, Jimin jumps in the car with his tired and drained but still buzzing Hobi-hyung. Jimin can't even wait til they get to the hotel, praising Hoseok endlessly and rewarding him for doing such a good job.
