Summary
Every year, the packs gather for the Seven Nights’ Offering, a sacred hunt made to bond their packs and honor their gods. And every year, Jungkook has dutifully taken part in it as the head alpha’s youngest son. But this time he finds himself tethered to the last person he should fall for.
Park Jimin is an omega, a high priest from a disgraced pack, and a reminder of a dark past that Jungkook’s people have tried to bury. But none of that matters once Jimin steps up as a hunter for his pack, a role never meant to fall on any omega, and he and Jungkook find themselves forced to rely on each other in the wild.

The island city-state of Tokje was once a beacon of the future, founded by wandering wolf ancestors and seen as a gift from the gods themselves. With walls to protect them and farms to feed them, Tokje pushed nomadic packs into a new era to end the constant strife they faced before.
Tokje was beautiful before its alpha leaders grew too greedy. Tokje was stunning before the omegas overthrew them. Tokje was synonymous with hope before omegas followed in the footsteps of those they loathed, and they too began to abuse their people.
Today, Jeon Jungkook wanders the streets of a city he barely recognizes, exploited and reigned over by those who think of him as a mindless monster. He waits for the day they choose to tame him, to break him, or he waits to die. There are no other options for his kind.
But their time is coming. No one can rule forever. The gods have abandoned all. Omegas will fall. Tokje will rise again.
