Armand liked a challenge. Got a bit competitive even with mundane things like a game of Scrabble or beating Daniel at the daily Wordle.
“And if I succeed in surprising you…” Armand drawls, a long finger drawing patterns on Daniel’s bare chest, “What is my reward?”
“Besides the satisfaction of being right?” Daniel asks, “Whatever you want, sweetheart.” He leans in, pecking Armand on the mouth before laying back down.
