"We've gotten engaged," Harry's mother rushed out, giddy.
"-ell acquainted-" Harry froze, blinking, and Riddle Jr did a double take, quickly putting down his wine glass and coughing violently into a napkin. "What?"
Life has never gone quite so quickly. One moment Harry's living with his single mother playing videogames most of his spare time and keeping up his grades, the next his mother is only not single but married (happily) to a free-spending uber-rich entrepreneur with a very, very handsome son several years older than Harry himself.
At least Tom's nice. It could definitely be worse. (It can't get any better than this).

By day, Harry works as a lowly assistant to his boss: the cruel, controlling Tom Riddle.
By night, he lives, breathes, and writes fanfiction. And when he's not writing, he's obsessing over the work of his favorite Ao3 author: Lord_Voldemort_.
So, of course, it’s only a matter of time before Harry gets caught reading Voldemort’s latest fanfiction at work… by none other than his boss.

Riddle tilted his head, and a terrifying smile crossed his face. “Mr. Potter, you are not what I expected."

Harry Potter is screwed.
With a penchant for Firewhiskey and late-night parties, he had no idea that he would find a handsome man in his bed the next morning, when he wakes up; already late for his first day at St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies as a Healer trainee. He also had no idea that his mom’s ex-boyfriend would have an axe to grind, the most eager girl would follow him around like she’d been hit with a Permanent Sticking Charm, or that the handsome man in his bed that morning was his boss, Tom Marvolo Riddle, Head of Spell Damage.
Like I said, Harry Potter is screwed.
