Summary
The Styx does not take kindly to some two-bit minor Roman river nymph washing away her blessing. That was her blessing, for the child that had defied chance and made it out of her river alive. This waterbug was not taking that away.

Summary
He knows she’s a demigod the moment she sat down next him in the lecture hall, blonde curls swaying and those judgmental gray eyes glaring holes into his skin. Turns out, she probably had figured out he wasn’t exactly mortal either.
You tended to be very perceptive if you were apparently the daughter of an all knowing wisdom god.
Oh, how he hated children of Athena.(or percy is a god and annabeth definitely doesn't like him)

Summary
Artemis is born screaming.
She is born with toohot sunlight scorching her veins and a womb she wishes to claw out with weakling fingers. She is born with names on the tip of her tongue that have not been given. With languages that do not yet exist. She is born speaking Greek and Hebrew, Tamil and tongues the goddesses have never heard before. Words that won’t exist for thousands of years trip off her tongue as she begs and cries and pleads. But prophecy cannot be returned. Only passed on.
For better or for worse, for worse being the more likely, she has been blessed by four goddesses of prophecy, and though only two may have been intentional, Artemis is born seeing far too much.
“If it is in your power, give me all that ails her. Curse me with what makes my sister weep and scream out, so that I would bear it upon my own shoulders.”
Gaea mourns, and she does.
