“What do you mean you don’t know where he is?!” Yuuta’s voice reverberated in the room, and with a swift movement, he slammed his hands onto the table, causing the surface to splinter under the force. The cursed energy emanating from him was flagrant, and the very air grew thick, crackling with the tension of unleashed power.
Gojo, for all his casual demeanor, sat with a kind of cocky ease, seemingly impervious to the energy enveloping the room. He leaned back languidly and tilted his head to the side, the perpetual smile on his lips taking on a sardonic twist.
“The Higher Ups view it as a family affair,” Gojo began, his voice dripping with an unmistakable tone of mockery. "To them, Inumaki's just returning to his Clan — no coercion, just a 'reunion'.” He paused, letting the weight of his words settle. “But we both know that's far from the truth, don’t we, Yuuta?”
“So what are we going to do about it?”

Summary
After an uneventful mission and an unexpected delay, Yuuta finds himself pulled along by Toge to a secret onsen. Surrounded by hot water, and cool air, Yuuta realizes that maybe not all detours are an inconvenience.
Toge's lips twitch into a knowing smile as he slowly drifts closer, water swirling around them. Yuuta swallows.

He doesn’t know what to say, so he tugs on Okkotsu’s hand until their arms are flush together, and lays his head on the taller boy’s shoulder. He knows he’s crossing a line. Shame drips into the mix of longing and steadfast grief that’s already swirling in his gut, because the boy he’s soothing right now has a girlfriend, and he’ll never get as close as her. He’ll never get this close again. He can only ever really love the idea of Okkotsu Yuuta, and if it makes him sick and twisted to be satisfied with that, well, Inumaki Toge was raised by serpents, and serpents are the very embodiment of greed.
He’ll take what he can get.
