At first, Kim Dokja only pickled his sense of justice. Found as a small abused child, probably by his own family. As if that kind of life wasn't hard enough, his village had been attacked by demons and he must've seen horrible scenes of massacre. Being a Crusader whose job was to protect civilians from that type of harm, it was normal to want to bring the boy to safety and ensure his happiness.
In time, the boy opened up to him and Yoo Joonghyuk wished to protect his serene expression. To make sure Kim Dokja stays safe for eternity. ...Or so he thought.
