Bonus Time(s): Non-sequences
(Mostly short (series of) fics exploring various potential consequences for canon events/actions;
What-if scenarios, rather than proper divergence
Unseen moments, that could plausibly have happened between/alongside what was known/shown to have occurred
Actions have consequences (either short-term, or liable to affect the characters, but not the plot)
One-off events, where consequences come to light (often years/some time) after the fact - either canon compliant, or somewhat vague canon relevance (but not actively contradictory)

Summary
In Tim’s haze of fire, he ends up with a thought that turns everything into ice.
It’s been a year since he came back with Bruce and he never got an apology.
So Tim walks up to his older brother who’s now taken a step backward with slightly widened eyes at the smile- the cold and very wide grin that’s taken place on Tim’s face very quickly, very suddenly -and he walks straight up to the man in front of him, puts his hands on his shoulders, and knees him straight in the dick.
Casually stepping over his older brother practically crying on the edge of the platform, and ignoring the gobsmacked look shared among Tam, the security guards, and most of the press who caught it all on camera, he walks over to wooden stand with the microphone and begins nonchalantly talking about the unfortunate mistake made by someone he doesn't care about in a division that’s so unimportant he was literally thinking about shutting it down a few weeks ago.
The questions asked by the press weren’t on topic at all.

"No don't- don't engage!" Tony yelled, frantically pulling harder on the Infinity Gauntlet. "We almost got this off!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, he knew it was useless. He could see the despair and anger on Quill's face, and Tony's first thought was that he probably looked like that back on Siberia, before everything went to shit. Which was why Tony opted to shoot Quill instead.

Summary
When Steve says, “Rumlow said "Bucky" and… all of a sudden I was a 16-year-old kid again, in Brooklyn. And people died. It's on me,” it’s presented as a human and understandable thing that shouldn’t be held against him even though his emotional reaction cost eleven Wakandans and an unspecified number of others their lives.
What would it look like if other characters were extended the same latitude for their emotional reactions?
