Tara was the highly-educated, dedicated, diligent, unlucky-in-love lab manager for the county wastewater treatment plant. She and Elle made a dynamic duo in a workplace filled with grumpy old men who were just there for their government pensions.
One day, a new treatment plant operator was hired: a whirlwind of blue hair with a dirty mouth and an infectious zest for life. Her enthusiasm for learning about the science behind wastewater treatment delighted Tara.
And it made her feel other sorts of things, too.

Yes, this is the fic that I swore I would never, ever, ever write: a smutty wastewater treatment plant fic. The first six chapters are the main story, and are rated T for language (Darcy swears a LOT in any universe). Chapter 7 is Tara and Darcy's first time, and chapter 8 is Nick and Charlie's (both are rated E).A gift for MissDeviant as part of a Valentine’s Day fic exchange! Nick likes to think it doesn't bother him, but in reality it does.
When you start university it's like starting all over again. This, of course, includes coming out. In an ideal world it wouldn't have to matter, but we don't live in one. People complain about assumptions all the time if it's their case, but sometimes Nick thinks that in an ideal world people would just assume and be right, so that he doesn't have to go through this every fucking time.
Biphobia is everywere and like a ghost.
