“They are wolves, Derek, wolves!”
“I know.”
“They—” Stiles choked and focused his gaze on the alpha. “W-what?”
Amidst the rubble, the groaning building, the wailing, and the scent of burning metal, Derek looked calm. The alpha ascended one step, closer to Stiles. “My love, listen to me—”
“What is going on?” Stiles’ throat dried.
“I said, listen.”
The omega’s mouth clamped shut, his lips trembling. The muscles in Derek’s jaw bulged as if he struggled to stay still.
“I am taking you hostage.”
Stiles’ chest stilled. His lips parted. He went completely stiff, watching Derek’s lips move, but the words made no sense.
“Derek…” he murmured hoarsely, shaking his head. “What…”
“I am not going to hurt you.” Derek’s voice went hard as steel. He spread his arms as if showing the lack of armor. “But you are coming with me. It is an order. Do you understand me?”
Stiles shifted his gaze from his mouth to his eyes and flinched back.
They were red. Burgundy, like the blood splatters marring his face.
And just like that, everything became clear.

Summary
To think of it, anyone could walk in and take him. Anyone. And Stiles would let them. He would take their hand and go to god knows where with just a nod. The things they could have done to this creature… Who knew how many hands he would have passed before breaking apart?
It was a blessing, really, that Derek got to him first.

Summary
It wasn’t until that evening, curled up in the surprisingly comfortable nest he had made with the mattress and blankets on the combined space of the trunk and the folded-down backseat, that he allowed himself to open the magazine and get a better idea of how much trouble he was in.
Jason Thompson, son of OmegAid founder John Thompson, has helped countless alphas find and rehabilitate their wayward omegas. Now the 28-year-old alpha will be utilizing the company’s resources to rescue his own omega: On Sunday, August 11, Thompson caught his bondmate’s scent outside a café while on a business trip to Baton Rouge. He tracked the scent to a nearby apartment complex, but by the time he managed to gain access to the inside of the building, the unit his nose led him to was empty, with clear signs of having been abandoned in a hurry.
—
Remy was a modern, working omega who knew exactly what he wanted his future to look like. But when his destined bondmate, the traditionalist alpha heir to an omega "rehabilitation" company, suddenly appeared outside of his home, he had no choice but to go on the run for any chance at keeping his freedom. -

Summary
"And Otto Hightower was always whispering to Viserys' ear about all of us"
She was not wrong. Otto Hightower spoke against Corlys and Daemon at every turn. He spoke against everyone but his mediocre house. His own trickery would bring his downfall, after all it had been him who suggested to name Rhaenyra heir in his stead. And by doing so he prevented his own grandson from inheriting. It was better that way. For everyone, but Otto and his family. And definitely better for Daemon and his bloodline. Rhaenyra would prove easily manipulated, by him at least. It had always been so, ever since she was a babe. And he could always wed her.
It would be the best match for her, and for him. But his brother would not allow it. Not without some subtle conviction. Luckily for him, his brother was easily manipulated.
"Well, he cannot whisper into his ear any longer, now that he is in Oldtown" Daemon smirked.
Just after the news of the Highwhore birthing a half-breed for his brother, came the news of Otto's exile. He had cackled when he heard of it. It brightened his day.
"Indeed. Though I wonder, who would whisper into his ear now?"
Daemon winked at his cousin, for they both knew the answer.
