Summary
Karkat Vantas is an idiot who fights Cupid and becomes a temporary God. He's out of arrows when he realizes that he has one more without another half with a note attached to it:
If you’re reading this, it means you’ve finished the task I’ve set for you. This last arrow is for the one you hold dearly. And though you may try to deny it, he admires you deeply as well. There is but one problem, he needs a bit of a push. A sharp one, directly to the heart. You will be the one to deliver your final arrow straight into his heart and thus you shall be rewarded for your work. Trust that your shot is true and his heart will belong to you.

Summary
Karkat Vantas is a barista at A Cup of Love and he gets a weird customer one day. Cupid, as he comes to learn his name is, uses emotional manipulation magic for the good of people's love lives. Karkat, however, doesn't know this and he tries to fight a god. Including: Magic use, threats of violence, a fight scene, one pair of lesbians kissing, and hugging.

Summary
You wish Cupid’s arrows would make this part easy. All they do is give you the push to get together. They don’t fix the errors in communication and they surely don’t fix broken hearts like yours. Well, not that you need fixing. You just need to get over yourself long enough to trust Dave.
You love Dave, you know you do. You’ve been pining for him for well over three years and he’s been doing the same for you, apparently. You’re just… really fucking scared that he’s going to break your heart like you’ve seen him do so many times with all of his past relationships. You trust him not to, you really do, but you’re smart enough not to fool yourself into thinking that his eye won’t wander away from you if you’re not interesting enough for him. And if you’re being honest, you’re not really all that interesting of a person.
