This week's challenge was about bullies, so here's my take on it.

Summary
Another week, another prompt to share with you guys. This time the challenge was "Write a detailed action scene with at least two characters, starting the action near the beginning, and finishing towards the end.", and what better way to do with with a bit of Shadowrun. Any critiques and comments are welcome.
If you're interested to join our Writing Group, join us at: https://t.me/joinchat/CPoeZhclggenrOEh0yYwvg Tips, ideas, brainstoms and debates are just a few of the things that tend to happen there.
Also, I don't own Shadowrun or any of its media, that honor belongs to Catalyst media, visit their page if you got interested in the world. I only own the concept of the characters.

Summary
This week's writing prompt for the Writing corner is "Write a sequel for a prompt you have done". I thought long and hard about this, and decided to make a sequel for homecoming, following the story of Krusk and his family. Hope you enjoy it. Fair warning, there are quite a few references to plague and disease, though I did try to dial it down a bit.

Summary
You were falling., you leaned forward, settling your face between your knees, covering your heads with your arms. With each rise and fall of the ship, you felt like your heart followed, going all the way up your throat, and falling all the way down to your stomach. Nausea soon invaded you, and only by clenching your teeth hard could you keep it at bay. The others weren't nearly as silent. Screaming, wailing, sobbing, retching.
A loud siren pierced your ears, silencing all others sounds. The lights flickered one last time, before they all went off. The VI barely had time to give her last message before her existence was ended.
"Brace for impact" Read the blood red letters. Then, there was darkness.

Summary
"Bottoms up. No cheating this time." He said with finality, his hand closing around one of the glasses.
"Bottoms up. No regrets." I agreed with some reluctance. Vague images of the last time I had drunk Hurlg replaying in my memory.
He flashed me another smile, and without any more preamble, we brought the glasses to our mouths. The liquid burned down my throat, fire quickly settling in my stomach. The vertigo came next, my hand settling on the table for some much needed support, the world going silent for a moment. It quickly gave way to the pleasant buzz that only Hurlg could give me. A couple of coughs rocked my body, as the sour aftertaste of the Hurlg hit me. A laugh filled my ears next, my eyes setting one the figure of Carlos, doubled over in laughter. A rosy tint colored his cheeks while his empty glass lied next to him on the table.

Summary
She had so many things going for her, yet from time to time, I could see loneliness ghosting her eyes. She would just sit there on her table by the window, sipping her coffee, while her gaze was focused on the street, on the stray walkers that passed the alley. It always felt like a wall surrounded her when she got like that, an unspoken agreement between her and the world, so she could be alone with her thoughts. I could relate to that feeling, more than once I had been in her position. Maybe that's why I approached one day, trembling hands carrying a cup of latte and my stomach turning into knots.

Summary
A soft rumble came from behind me. The grinding of stones could be heard, and as I looker over my shoulder, I could see the boulder start to break. No, not break. Open. Like an armadillo, a pair of stout arms and thick legs came into view, lifting the crystal covered torso with ease. The crystals changed colors with each move, a dark red first, then a deep blue, a swift flash of pink, and a lazy showing of yellow. I watched fascinated the movement of the creature. Despite their obvious weight and thickness, their movements were fluid and precise. They stretched their limbs, like one would do after a long slumber. Loud cracks came from their neck when they shook their head. Their four eyes, arranged in an arc, shined with an intelligent silver glow. They settled on me, growing slightly bigger, with a bit of...surprise or aprehension. They were hard to read. Their eyes were fixed on me for a while, without moving a single part of their rocky body. Their crystals changing colors rapidly, until it settled on a bright white.
"H-hello, I'm sorry to disturb you" I said with a raspy voice, the best my parched throat could do. "I'm Dalean Refar, the- ahem- the Curious. And you?"

They had mocked me when I approached them, saying there was no way I could be of use. They had insulted my art and had me thrown out of the building. But they would learn. You never make an enemy of an infiltrator.
