“Good morning, Izuku.”
“Morning…”
The nurse smiles at him, eyes crinkling are the corners. “How are you feeling?”
“Fine.” Izuku scrubs at his eyes with his fists, tubes rattling faintly with the movement.
The white noise of the room is built up with many bricks, and it slowly seeps back into his ears as he grounds himself back in reality, back in the hospital bed. The noise isn’t uncomfortable, but nor is it comfortable. Izuku is simply used to the never ending beeping of a heart monitor, the endless rattling of the tubes, the steady ticking of the clock on the wall, and everything else.

Summary
The scent of strong (albeit cheap) alcohol and cigarettes starches the air around them, and Ochako can’t help the smile that stretches across her face. As she walks through the busting, laughing, happy crowd, she adjusts the string of pearls hanging around her neck and dripping down her chest. She feels pretty, dressed like this, and she hadn’t expected something as juvenile as that to feel so very good.
But it has certainly brightened her mood and so it doesn’t really matter if she hadn’t expected it. All that matters is her friends around her and the smiles on their faces.
“Who’s winning?” Ochako leans over to Izuku, voice almost a hiss.
“No one, as of yet.” Izuku hisses back, eyes glued to the card game he has subsequently lost, “But I do know that it isn’t me.”

Summary
After agreeing to share rent five ways with his friends so they could all live together, Katsuki expected to wake up every day to some fuck-shittery or nothing at all. He expected to be constantly annoyed or constantly angry or constantly wishing he could leave and just get his own apartment or something, only held down by sheer force of will and Kirishima’s puppy eyes.
What he did not expect was to wake up one weekend morning in December to hear Christmas music blasting from downstairs (at an oddly reasonable volume) while a rather cheerful conversation happened.

It’s not every day that Shouto gets a text from someone that isn’t either one of (if not both of) his boyfriends, Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, Iida, or Fuyumi. It’s so rare in fact, that when he sees a notification from someone not included in the list above, he freezes up and stares at his phone as if it were some entity of trickery and not a phone.
Midoriya Inko: hello, Todoroki! I was wondering if you wanted to come to our house for Christmas dinner?
For as much of an angel as Midoriya Inko is, this is definitely not something he had expected.

Summary
It’s ridiculous, really, that Hitoshi can ignore Bakugou but can’t ignore Denki, and he had spent long, sleepless nights puzzling over this. He hadn’t really come up with anything conclusive, unfortunately. Nothing outside of ‘I can’t ignore Kaminari Denki.’
Which leads us to his current predicament: attempting to study in the common room whilst Denki dances around the room, shrieking Christmas songs.

Hitoshi loves his cat. He really does, honest. She’s adorable, tiny, beautiful. She was the runt or her litter but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in personality. She steals things, demands attention, will curl up in Hitoshi’s lap as he is editing photos, everything. Her favourite perch is Hitoshi’s head or shoulders and she really doesn’t mind hanging out in Shouto’s (stolen) hoodie pockets.
But he made a serious mistake letting her get access to the Christmas decorations.

Summary
Pirouette drills aren’t her favourite thing to do, but they’ve always been beneficial no matter how much she would rather not do them. And, now that she has Midoriya giving her pointers and such, the drills are certainly going to be even more helpful now. Midoriya had always been good at helping others out and helping them improve, and Eri always felt really happy when his eyes lit up when she finally got something just right.
Halfway through the third drill, Midoriya speaks up again, “Hey. Have you heard about the auditions?”
“Auditions? What auditions?”

Summary
Hiking on Christmas morning is certainly not for everyone, Izuku included, but he can’t exactly say no once his mom has set his mind on the two of them doing something. And, of course, Misuki has invited them along and Izuku knows perfectly well that this sort of invitation from Mitsuki is not an actual invitation by any means. No, when she asks you if you want to come with her on a hike on Christmas morning, she isn’t asking you if you want to come. She is telling you that you are going.
And, because Izuku is more or less sane and doesn’t plan on losing his ears to Mitsuki’s tendency to pinch them, he goes along with it.
