Buck is the one taking care of emptying Red's house, since the man had no one else. It's not easy, going through decades of memories, good or bad, but it also gives Buck time to think about his own life, good and bad. Eddie tries his best to be there for Buck, to help, to listen, to comfort.

Summary
Sergeant Grant nodded solemnly as she made her way over the victim, crouching down beside the white sheet. As she pulled it back, she felt her stomach roll. The officer wasn’t being over dramatic when he spoke of the victim’s injuries. Even the ill-fated man’s family wouldn’t be able to recognise him if they tried, she just hoped he had some form of ID on him. She patted down his pockets, coming up empty. Then she noticed a card under his arm, he must have been bending down to pick up his ID when the accident occurred. Carefully and gently, she reached for the card. The moment she turned it over a broken scream escaped her mouth.

Summary
Ever since the lawsuit Buck had found himself lacking any kind of financial stability. He had lawyers fees and medicals bills that needed to be paid, his rent had gone up, given how much time he had spent unable to leave his apartment his gas and electric bills had increased and to top it all off Captain Nash had cut down his shifts. It seemed that none of his co-workers could stomach having him around anymore.

It all started with the new recruit, Steven Thomas. The guy fit in well with the 118, taking the place in their little family Buck thought belonged to him. Things had been strained ever since his return to work after the lawsuit. He really should’ve seen something like this coming.

Summary
Prompt: It still makes me so mad that Buck was slapped by one woman and had water thrown on him by another when his picture was used to catfish. Buck goes to this support group from catfish victims and lo and behold he runs into one or more of these women. Instead of being gracious he lets them have it for daring to lay any kind of hand on him. They harp about being victimized, when they themselves victimized him and he was totally innocent. Reduce these ladies to tears. Firefam apologize too.
