Summary
Declan, always in pursuit of self-sufficiency, had absorbed what he could from observing Aurora in the kitchen. Then he had browsed cookbooks and cooking websites, eventually moving on to watching YouTube videos and cooking programs. It wasn't that he had a grand passion for the culinary arts but he refused to be useless like his father. Someday he would need to fend for himself and he wasn't going to live off of fast food, snacks, noodle cups, or frozen meals – the typical fare he received when on the road with Niall.

Summary
The absolute best thing about their current situation was that Ronan knew, no matter what, that he would go to sleep with Adam in their bed and wake up most mornings with Adam still there, curled up around him. The world was an uncertain place and these days it seemed even worse but at least he had this certainty – that Parrish was with him and he was safe.

Summary
Declan had come up with the chore chart that was posted on the kitchen fridge.
Of course it had been Declan; Matthew was used to it. Declan had made him a chore chart when they had shared a dorm room at Aglionby and then later when Matthew moved to Declan’s D.C. townhouse. Usually Matthew’s chores were pretty basic: put away clothes, brush teeth, make bed, put on deodorant, tidy room, do homework. Completing all of his chores on a daily basis earned him an allowance and an allowance meant more money for games.

Summary
Ronan waved Adam into the hug and they all stood together, faces burning from cold, staring up at the tree. It was by far the best holiday moment Adam had ever experienced, and they weren’t even done. He’d had days and days of quiet, cozy preparation leading up to Christmas, and they still had several days to go.
