“Um... I...” he tried to answer but temporarily lost the ability to form human speech. She didn’t have a problem with it, though. Evidently, he wasn’t the first potential employee she was dealing with. “Okay, that kind of work.”
Or: Steve needs to work for a living. Unfortunately for him, in his current situation, only one type of work is viable. Financial security is great, but can a virgin like him do what the job requires?

Through his window, he saw a platform made of shiny black stone. They called it the Display Platform and, as its name suggested, more often than not, something was “displayed” on it, day and night. Or rather, somebody. Whenever the Institute’s guest displeased Master or any of the instructors, they ended up there for long hours, ashamed and miserable and all trussed up—usually after spending some quality time in one of the Punishment Rooms to get them in the appropriate mood.
Or: Danny guiltily watches his fellow inmate take some very sadistic punishment.

Something comes to Robert in his dreams. Or rather, when he sleeps, as the things it does to him feel extraordinarily real and decidedly non-dreamlike. When it comes, he can’t do anything to stop it. In fact, until it’s done with him, he can’t move a single muscle. And after, when he wakes up a second time, somehow there’s no physical evidence that anything had happened. Which is weird—it feels so real.
Or: Robert experiences nightly visitations from some sort of dream demon. Is it real, or is it just his subconsciousness playing tricks on him?
