Summary
“Rage that’s not controlled is a waste. What you can do with it is to let it out by, say, writing down what you’re feeling. Rationalize it. But, if you insist on physicality,” he pats the bag with a light punch. “…you can learn to use it."
-----
Raphael feels the pressure of being under the scrutiny of those closest to them, and they try to let it out the only way they know how. Michael shows them a better way.

Summary
You could only hope he hadn’t noticed your staring, but with someone like Michael you somewhat doubt that. Although you soon realised there was no need to worry, because when you look back up at his mask, you see that he was also regarding your… torso, if you read his eyes correctly. But you could be wrong; after all, you never knew with these masks. Only one way to find out.
You gingerly clear your throat, and sure enough, his gaze lifts slightly upwards to meet your eyes again.

Summary
He turns off the phone and puts it aside on the coffee table before sitting upright, and he looks down at you. You raise an eyebrow at him curiously and put your hands behind your neck, mostly to support your head and partially because that’s the angle you needed for your left breast to peek out from under your gown.
“Everything okay?”
Michael hums in affirmation and sits back so he’s further away from you. “It’s Greg. I asked him to bring me something, but it’s not of utmost importance right now.” He leans towards you and grins darkly. “Where were we?”
----
Alternating from where we left off in Allision, when the coitus interruptus does not ensue and our murder couple discovers more about each other, reconciling in their similarities and differences.

Summary
“I thought we’d promised not to lie to each other.”
“It’s true,” she assures him. “I just had a nightmare.”
He searches her face for a moment before looking away, silently chuckling to himself.
“What did I do now?”
She hesitates. “You died.”
Post-Book 2. Raphael and Michael's relationship has grown stronger than ever, but as with everything that's built from the ground up, you must also anticipate its collapse. It's never an easy process, but luckily, you don't always have to do it alone.

Summary
Remember when I told you I wanted to retire?”
“Mhm,” Michael hums in affirmation.
“I wanted to ask. If we… get through this shit with everything intact… Wanna do all that together?”
“Absolutely.”
You smudge his scars with the tip of your fingers, going outwards to smooth, somewhat worn skin. “I… wouldn’t mind growing old together.”
“Neither would I.” He smiles slightly, sounding distant. With his tense brows interrupting his otherwise peaceful expression, he looks like he is having the strangest dream.
