Summary
“P-please don’t... I don’t w-want to...t-be alone...” The voice was hoarse from screaming. It slurred, as though dirty fingers had smeared through his voice like a hand through fresh oil paint. Before he could finish, she spun around and thrust her foot out, she nearly missed the mark, extending her leg with more force than she would’ve liked and barely shoving his shoulder. But it was enough to roll him from where he lay, flat on the stones, to an even more awkward position.
“If I’m lucky they’ll-” As Yennefer seethed, he lifted his head just enough to meet her gaze. Her breath hitched in her throat and her heart plummeted into her stomach. The world was spinning and she thought she was going to be sick. “Jaskier.”
inspired by Dandelion Wine by Gregory Alan Isakov.

Summary
Geralt wasn’t coming back.
No one was going to save him this time.
It was possible Geralt already knew he was there. This is what the witcher had wanted anyway, wasn’t it?
For someone to take Jaskier off his hands and take him they did."Very well then, I suppose we’re done here." She stood curtly and turned to the guards that stood at the door. "Do what you will with him, he is of no use to me anymore." She paused, smoothing her hand over the crushed velvet of her cloak. "On second thought, keep him alive long enough to show her what her future holds. Perhaps that will convince her to be more...forthcoming."
The second installment of my drabble whump series. Please mind the tags. You have been warned. It is more than just dark.

Summary
Geralt was very skilled at a great many things, running away from the fires he had started was one such thing. He would look at the roaring flames that ravaged the bonds that tied him to another, and with fear pricking, at the back of his neck and elbows, he would simply turn around and walk away. He had learned from painful experience that the heat of the fire can only sting your skin if you turn to face it. When bridges burn and tunnels collapse, as inevitably, they do... one should simply take care to avoid the path in the future, lest they be made to trudge through the ash and debris or dig out a pathway from the rubble.
Simple enough.
Or... Geralt chases after Yennefer and finds more than he bargained for.
