The Netflix live action shouldn't exist.
Still, what if Light Yagami and a mysterious unnamed student who simply goes by "Hideki Ryuga" and the pop idol Misa Amane became transfer students, and got to live in America for the rest of the year? What if they had to room with their American selves? What chaos would ensue?
anime is canon up to right before the FBI agents. movie is canon, but barely. So, what will happen? Will L be able to catch not 1, not 2, but 3 Kira's? will near and mello have to step in?
honestly, I don't know. this is a fun fanfic to make as much fun of the Netflix version as I can. idk if that will work.
