Summary
“I am no mere mortal,” she replies, now facing me, and I brace myself for another one of her long-winded speeches. “I originate from a world beyond, and therefore do not need to submit myself to the depths of unconsciousness to recharge.”
I stare at her in disbelief. She’s really pulling an all-nighter? Not that I haven’t done that before, but… “Are you sure you want to keep watch for the whole night?”

Summary
“Since you, astral emissary, are now a trusted member of my retinue, I will grant thee the permission to do exactly that. Remember that this is an honour bestowed upon thee, for only subjects of mine as trustworthy as you are will be allowed to witness firsthand the tragic history of the world once ruled by the Prinzessin der Verurteilung herself.” Wait—
“You’re letting me look into your past?”
“Indeed.” She trusts me that much?

Summary
The moment she reaches the shore before me, she faces me with a bright and triumphant smile, as if the world has aligned exactly the way she wanted it to. Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention earlier, but… has she always looked so cute whenever she won?
“Ohohohoho! Behold, Lady Megistus—the Prinzessin der Verurteilung has once more emerged victorious!”
Ugh, how did I forget that she also likes to taunt me? I huff. “Don’t you think it’s too soon to celebrate?”
“While this victory may only be but a footnote in the Prinzesssin’s history, it is still glorious in its own right,” Fischl proclaims with a proud lift of her chin. “It is also a sign that the Prinzessin’s retribution upon you for your arrogance is nigh.”
Though I practically handed her that win, her words still prick at my pride and cause a familiar irritation to flare in my chest. But, if indulging her keeps that adorable smile on her face, then I suppose I can endure a bruised ego for a little longer…

Summary
But even after Lumine leaves, what she mentioned about the raven statue still weighs on my mind. If she could piece it together, then surely Mona—who is the smartest in our group—would too, wouldn’t she? …how would she react?
“Beyond the Prinzessin’s control… the seeds of romantic affection have been planted in one's heart.”
The silence that follows is suffocating.
“You like me?” Mona asks, sounding as soft as she was in my dream; somehow, it only makes the thought of getting rejected hurt more.
I merely nod, still not daring to look at her.
“Goodness, you look like I’ve already rejected you. Shouldn’t you wait for my answer first?”
Being informed about the presence of a certain raven statue in Fischl's mirage spurs her to finally do something about the feelings she harbours for the Court Archmage of the Immernachtreich.

Summary
“Wh— well that was… unexpected,” Fischl says when I hug her by her waist from behind, both of us lying on my newly bought bed. Truth be told, this purchase still hurts—I could have bought that new astrology equipment I had my eye on with all that money!—but if this is the cost to cuddle Fischl like this… I suppose I don’t mind.
She is the reason I replaced my bed, after all.

Summary
Mona is simply sitting with her legs outstretched, yet, much more than usual, the glow of the small campfire we set up nearby is tantalising in how it highlights the fitting nature of her leotard. Perhaps it's simply a reflection of my desire; the colours of the fire aren't deviating from what I'm used to, neither is its light any different from that of other days.
"What are you staring at, hm?"
Fischl and Mona have sex for the first time.

Summary
…if only Fischl were here. I sigh. She can’t help me with the column, but… it would be nice to spend time with her. Maybe that would get rid of this cursed writer’s block. Or maybe a walk would do too. Hm…
But it seems my subconscious has different plans. In fragments, memories of the first time Fischl and I made love soon resurface: her lustful and loving gaze, her moans of my name, her flustered reactions to my teasing… And I can’t bring myself to push them away.
Mona thinks about Fischl while they are apart. (Thankfully, Fischl soon visits her.)

Summary
Suddenly, Fischl snuggles up to me more and starts playing with the hem of my shirt, distracting me from the main character’s current dilemma. Confused by her actions, I look at her, only for her gaze to still be fixed on the book, seemingly as invested in it as before. But when I flip to the next page after I’ve finished reading, she sneaks her hand under my shirt and runs her fingertips up my stomach.
I hold onto her hand from the outside as it reaches my chest, keeping it still. “What is it? I thought you like this book.”
“I do, but… I missed you,” Fischl mumbles. “I didn’t see you for weeks.”
“Huh…” I slot the bookmark inside the book before placing it on the bedside table, then tease her as I caress her thigh, “Missed my touch, you mean?”

Summary
A week passes, and I nearly forget about my request. That is, until one night, as we lie entwined beneath the sheets, the world outside quiet, Mona’s hands idly playing with my hair. Her fingertips graze my scalp in a way that sends pleasant tingles down my spine. Wrapped in the warmth of her embrace, it’s all too easy to cross over into the realm of dreams.
Until suddenly, she murmurs, "Amy."
The sound of that name—even when spoken by her with such tenderness—jolts me awake. As if it were second nature, my body immediately tenses up, faster than I can make sense of my actual feelings.
"Hm," she hums, sensing my reaction. "Still don’t like it, I presume?"
A dream Fischl has causes her to attempt to confront the scars left on her heart by her birth name with Mona's help. She doesn't quite succeed, but... maybe that's okay.

Summary
Breathing: the exchange of gases within one’s body and outside of it. It is a simple biological process, an activity subconsciously carried out by every human (including me, much as I like to pretend otherwise) to ensure functionality of one’s body. Such a significant process, yet one that is easy to ignore for it is usually quiet, effortless.
Yet, when it comes to Mona, I can’t help but take notice.
