Summary
Shawn O'Donnel, a man from Sinnoh, awakens in Pallet Town to discover that the most recent parts of his memory are missing as if they had been surgically removed. Setting out to discover what happened to him, Shawn will learn just what exactly he had gotten himself wrapped up in. Kanto might seem fine on the surface, but underneath is a darkness few would wish to confront.
This is a story set in a different version of the Pokemon world that mixes and matches both lore from the different games as well as original spins on it. This was also originally written as a Nuzlocke story. However, it deviates so much from the norm that you could hardly tell unless you had my gameplay notes.

Summary
It's been years since Cole's plans in Kanto was foiled and a crisis was averted. Our heroes returned home safely, the horrors of the past were buried once more, and the world continued in ignorance of the catastrophe that could have been. Years passed without armies of augmented pokemon nor even any mundane wars breaking out among the regions. It seemed as though humanity and pokemon would continue together in bringing about brighter and brighter eras.
But what if a villain's mad plan wasn't so misguided after all?
Light erupted in the heart of Unova and tore the region asunder. A long forgotten, self-proclaimed god rose from its imprisonment to complete an ancient cataclysm. The region was ripped apart and the spread was only stopped due to the sacrifices of the Hero of Truth and Hero of Ideals. But it was a temporary measure and, while the rest of the world underestimates the danger, the light builds and threatens to explode forth and cleanse humanity from the Earth.
But what if one of the few hopes to save third world laid not with Unova's legendary heroes, not with those who defied Cole, but with a young, homeless mother who was cruelly experimented upon and plucked from her own era in the past?
