Summary
Randle and Bromden are sent to the Disturbed ward after the fight in the shower room. They're helped by the unnamed Japanese nurse. This is a short little drabble about what (non-canonically) happened between the break from their being in the nurse room and in the beds.

Summary
I nestled my forehead against his, our noses barely nudging against each other. My hair fell around the two of our faces. “I’m sorry,” I whispered to him. His eyes were wide, unblinking, as he grabbed hold of the back of my hand and pulled my hand away from his wrist. He pressed his hand into the crook of my neck. I felt myself shiver, though I never felt hotter in my life than I did in that moment.

Summary
They’d been driving for nearly six hours before needing to stop. By then, it was late evening, and both of their chests untightened with relief with the shelter of the darkness and the inconspicuousness they could now carry. If they waited late enough and got a room, McMurphy could change out the license plates like he was talking about, and they could drive straight through the next day until they got to the Canadian border. It wasn’t as if the doctor would be able to find that car by now anyways, since they were already out of state; but McMurphy was reckless, not stupid, and he felt it better if they made it out to be their own car. They just had to use fake plates long enough to get to the border and then buy their own, real ones.

Summary
Even with McMurphy, I could feel him always watching me, least when I’d get out of the shower. I’d be dressing for the day, or dressing for bed, and I could feel his eyes on me, boring holes in my body. I could tell without even looking at him that he was thinking something perverted, something sexual, but it didn’t bother me none. Not McMurphy. That’s just who he was.
